CRM setup for small business: every lead in one place, nobody forgotten.

A CRM is the one list of every lead and customer, and where each of them is up to. We set one up around how you sell and connect it to the places leads come from. When nothing off the shelf fits the way you work, we build one for you.

What a finished setup looks like

  • One record per person

Calls, emails, quotes and notes for a customer sit together, so anyone on the team can pick up where the last person left off.

  • Stages that match how you sell

New enquiry, site visit booked, quote sent, won, lost. Your steps, in your words, not a template from somewhere else.

  • A next step on every lead

Each open lead has an owner and a date, and the system speaks up when that date goes past.

How we set it up

  1. Step 1

We map how you sell now

Where leads come from, who handles them, and the points where they tend to go quiet.

  2. Step 2

    We build it to fit

Stages, fields and reminders shaped to that map, with your existing contacts brought across and tidied up.

  3. Step 3

    We train the team

A short session on real leads, plus a one-page guide, so the CRM gets used after we leave.

Signs you have outgrown the spreadsheet

  • Leads live in three places: an inbox, a notebook and somebody's phone.
  • You find out a quote was never followed up when the customer mentions it months later.
  • Only one person knows where each job is up to, and the business stalls when they are away.
  • You cannot say how many open quotes you have without counting by hand.

The CRM sits in the middle of everything else

AI, automation, custom software and websites are the four kinds of work we do, and they are built to act as one. The CRM is the piece the others report to. A website form creates the lead, an automation sends the quote reminder, and an AI assistant can draft the reply for a person to check, all against the same customer record and with no retyping.

Questions

What does CRM setup for small business involve?

Choosing a CRM that suits the size of the business, building your sales stages into it, bringing your existing contacts across, connecting it to your website forms and email, and training the team. It is set up in an account you own.

Do you set up an existing CRM or build one?

Either, depending on the business. For most, we set up and connect a CRM that already exists: the account is in your name and you can keep using it whether or not you keep working with us. When the way you sell does not fit anything you can buy, we build one around it, and that is yours too.

How much does CRM setup cost?

It depends on how many people sell, how many steps a sale has and what the CRM needs to connect to, so we do not quote a number here. After we have looked at how you handle leads today, you get a scope in writing with the cost. Work begins only once you have agreed.

How long does it take to set up?

A sole operator with one sales path is quicker than a team with several. Bringing across old contacts adds time too. You see the timing in the scope before anything is switched on.

We already have a CRM that nobody uses. Can you fix it?

Often, yes. Most unused CRMs were set up with somebody else's stages and too many fields. We look at what you have, strip it back to how you sell, and retrain the team. If it is the wrong tool for the business, we say so.

What happens to the contacts we already have?

We bring them across from your spreadsheets, inboxes and old systems, merge the doubles and flag the records with missing details. You check the list before the old one is retired.
